Marilyn MacGregor is an artist and art historian with an equal love of making art and writing and talking about it. Her work ranges from designs for licensing to sensitive, serious painting and handmade artist books. She finds inspiration in the world around her, in the vast resources of art history of all times and cultures, and in the wonderful feel of a pen in the hand and a clean sheet of good paper. She has lived on both coasts (New York and the SF Bay Area) and in Paris, and now makes her home in Philadelphia, where she is happy to be surrounded by all that history! Her award-winning blog about art and art history is at http://www.artsmarttalk.com/artsmartsblog.html. She teaches art history at the university level and as an independent speaker, as well as online with her Postcard Art History classes www.postcardarthistory.com, and leads small group arts-focused tours to Paris.
